Mort is a 94 year old WWII veteran of the USAAF (precursor to the Air Force), and he is currently a volunteer at the LA Brea Tar Pits. He is a great American, a patriot in the truest sense of the word, and literal living history. He is a positive gentleman who has a smile for everyone he meets, you're naturally drawn to his beautiful and radiant spirit. I have made America my home, and my wish is that all Americans would be like Mort: willing to answer the call to defend the things we hold dear in the face of tyranny and authoritarianism, but be a good neighbor and friend to all that we meet, no matter race, gender, or social status.
