Antonio E. “Ed” Perez supports and advances the operations and activities related to the Office of Government Affairs.
Perez brings two decades of experience and leadership in government affairs, congressional relations, and advocacy strategy to the Foundation. Prior to joining America250, Perez served as director of government relations, public affairs and special events for the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Commission from 2015-2021. He has also served in a variety of leadership roles in Texas state government affairs, including deputy chief of staff to representative Kevin Brady, and executive director of the Texas’ Office of State-Federal Relations, where he advocated the state’s federal legislative agenda for a decade.
Perez earned his master’s degree in special education and his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
