Ed Perez
Director of State & Local Partnerships
Ed Perez works as Director of State and Local Partnerships for the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission (USSC). He began working for the USSC as Deputy Director of Government Affairs in March 2021. Previously, Ed served as the Dwight D.Eisenhower Memorial Commission’s director of government relations, public affairs, and special events from 2015 to 2021. From 2013 to 2015, Ed served as deputy chief of staff for U.S.Representative Kevin Brady. For the State of Texas, Ed was appointed by Governor Rick Perry and confirmed by the Texas State Senate as executive director of Texas’ Office of State-Federal Relations pursuing the State’s federal legislative agenda for ten years.
