1776, The Musical

The West Virginia Semiquincentennial Commission and the West Virginia Department of Tourism will host a production of 1776, The Musical at the Culture Center Theater on the State Capitol Complex as part of the state’s America250 celebration. 1776 is a Tony Award-winning Broadway production that tells the story of John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson’s work in the Continental Congress to craft the Declaration of Independence and begin the Revolutionary War.
