The Gilpin County Fair's location as well as the activities and events have great significance to the 2026 commemoration. We start the weekend off with a Parade through our historical cities, Central City and Black Hawk. Through out the weekend we have 2 rodeo's, 90+ vendors, free activities, live music and events for all to participate in. Additionally, one of our main events are mining competitions to help keep the heritage of our area alive.
