Words matter. Chemung County Historical Society is offering a Poetry workshop looking at America250 and A250 through the lens of local history. Chemung County has roots stretching back to the country's origin story. This workshop, led by local poet Elizabeth Frigard, will use the museum's history exhibits to inspire poetry on the American experience. $5 cost covers materials, admission, and 2-hour workshop.
