On July 3, join us for a city wide celebration of the 250th anniversary of American Independence with a free concert featuring Detroit Steel, a fireworks show, and a sign dedication honoring a fallen American Hero and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient: Cpt. Steven Bennett.
On July 4, at 10 am the party continues in Old Town Palestine with a classic parade, festival, and a car show hosted by The JourneyHQ. This family-friendly event also includes a pie contest, and a kid's bicycle decorating contest and much more. The weekend will be anchored in heritage with the classic "Telling of the Tales" at the stunningly beautiful historic Anderson County Courthouse.
