As part of the museum's America 250 in Idaho celebration, the museum will host a lecture about Bill Wassmuth, born and raised in Idaho County. Christina Bruce-Bennion, Director of the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights will speak about Wassmuth's life and legacy in countering hate movements in the 1980's and 1990's. His story shows how communities in Idaho and beyond have worked to defend human and civil rights and build spaces rooted in dignity and belonging.
