America 250: Nebraska City Time Capsule

Part of celebrating a milestone as unique as 250 years is reflecting on what we can leave for future generations. To that end, the America 250: Nebraska City committee has created a TIME CAPSULE that they will be burying in the lawn of the Otoe County Courthouse in a special ceremony attended by seniors of the Class of 2026 from Nebraska City High School and Lourdes Central Catholic. The time capsule will include items representing life and society in 2026 with instructions to be opened in 50 years during America’s 300th Birthday Celebration.
