A celebration of America 250 in a town called Liberty wouldn’t be complete without a community gathering on July 4! Enjoy a parade, a variety of kids activities, treats, reading of the Declaration of Independence, unveiling of the next Great American statue and more in downtown Liberty.
Event Schedule:
8 a.m. - Historic Downtown Liberty Farmers Market open
10 a.m. - Block Party Starts
10 a.m. - Parade Starts (the parade will go down Kansas Street from Heritage Middle School)
12 p.m. - Reading of the Declaration of Independence
12:15 p.m. - Unveiling of the new Great American statue
1 p.m. - Event ends and market closes
