Ours is America's 250th Birthday/Independence Day Parade here in Sioux Falls.
We hope to have our Sioux Falls Children's Choir head it off, and our Grand Marshal is a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, Michael Fitzmaurice (who lives here in South Dakota; Vietnam vet). We also hope to have T-shirts, drum lines, a Fife and Drum Corps, and all manner of patriotic involvement in the parade.
The day before, on July 3rd, 2026, there hopefully will be an outdoor concert at the Levitt (outdoor concert stage) by the US Navy Reserve Band.
And on July 4th, 2026, out at the Sioux Falls Fairgrounds, there should be the traditional fireworks celebration by www.siouxfallsfireworks.com
But, we're hoping that our Parade will be the largest one in a few years.
