On March 29th, 1836, the town of San Felipe de Austin was set aflame by its own citizens as a defensive tactic against the Mexican Army. In the weeks leading up to this, the town played a significant role in the war with Mexico. Learn about the chain of events that ultimately led to the town's destruction. Visitors will be able to participate in hands-on activities, witness historical demonstrations, and answer the ultimate question: Would you have burned the town? It all happens on Saturday, April 11th beginning at 9am! The story starts here, at San Felipe de Austin!
