Celebrate Maryland Day at Historic Hancock’s Resolution Farm Park 

Come to Opening Day at Hancock’s Resolution and enjoy docent led tours one of the first houses built in a new country, the United States of America. Was Private Stephen Hancock inspired to build a new home, in the new United States of America, after his return from the Battle of Yorktown? Learn what historic events were taking place nearby as Revolutionary War Patriot, Stephen Hancock supervised the construction of his small, middling-class farmhouse. Children’s activities featuring docent-led house and store tours, this year will focus on the height of the Revolutionary War and former resident Stephen Hancock. There will be Visitor Displays and children's activities as well.
