The event commemorates the remarkable journey of the Knox Noble Train of Artillery, which transported artillery from Fort Ticonderoga to Boston in the winter of 1775–1776. This event is three days before the 250th anniversary of Henry Knox’s success in forcing the British evacuation of Boston (March 17, 1776) giving the Americans their first major victory of the American Revolution. The three-part program is as follows with a short question and answer session and light refreshments in between presentations. Admission is free.
