City of Homestead Military Appreciation Day

The City of Homestead proudly invites the community to honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces at the 13th Annual Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 5 PM to 9 PM at Losner Park, located at 104 N Krome Ave, Homestead, FL 33030.

Now in its thirteenth year, this beloved, family-friendly event is dedicated to recognizing the sacrifices and service of military personnel past and present. This year’s celebration also holds special significance as it aligns with the 250th Anniversary of the United States, offering an opportunity to reflect on our nation’s history, honor those who have defended our freedoms, and celebrate the values that continue to shape our future—both nationally and here in Miami-Dade County.

Attendees can look forward to a patriotic evening filled with engaging activities and special tributes, including:

• Letters to Military Stations – Guests can write heartfelt messages to deployed service members.
• Live Music – Local performers will keep the energy high with live entertainment.
• Military Display Vehicles – Get up close with impressive military equipment and vehicles.
• Food Trucks & Vendors – Enjoy a variety of tasty treats and local favorites.
