Our block party is part of the City of Von Ormy’s America 250 Celebration and is a free, family-friendly community event open to the public. The celebration will feature live music with a DJ and live band performances, food vendors, children’s activities, patriotic contests, and community displays honoring our nation’s history and military service.
Special activities include a Freedom Wall where residents can share messages of patriotism and remembrance, a Military Memorabilia Display showcasing local history and service, a Patriotic Kids Parade and Float Contest at the park trail, and a community-wide Decoration Contest for homes and businesses. We will also have adult and senior patriotic competitions, family activities, and opportunities for the community to come together in celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
The event will be held at PFC Lawrence “Larry” Quintana Hernandez City Park on Friday, July 3, 2026, beginning at 4:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend and celebrate with us.
