Join the American Indian Boarding School Research Project team at History Colorado for a series of Community Listening Sessions. Learn about the Project’s progress so far, and participate by providing guided input based on your own and your family’s experiences. The American Indian community’s recommendations for remembering and healing for families impacted by the history of American Indian Boarding Schools will be shared with the Colorado State Legislature in 2027.

We hope that you can join us for all three sessions:
Session 1: Information about the legislation and community input on the project.
Session 2: Families share their relationship to American Indian Boarding Schools.
Session 3: Recommendations for remembering and healing for Boarding School families

OPEN to survivors, descendants, and those who have direct family connection to Federal Indian Boarding Schools. Community Meal provided. Please share with other Boarding School families.
