Four Score and Seven Years Ago – Connecting America’s founding with the Civil War

The Northwest Civil War Council is a 501 3c organization dedicated to presenting living history related to the American Civil War, that includes twice daily mock battles with Union and Confederate infantry, cavalry and artillery units engaging on the battlefield. The multi-day event includes period encampments, military and civilian, where reenactors sleep, cook, and live. Each camp is open to the public and provides unique education opportunities.

This year's 4th of July event will also include a portrayal of Abraham Lincoln presenting a town-hall style Q&A. Our theme this year is "Four Score and Seven Years Ago - Connecting America's founding with the Civil War"
