The Lone Tree Arts Center presents "My American Story," a series of performances and a community engagement activities commemorating America 250 in 2026. This multidisciplinary initiative brings together the power of live performance, storytelling, and visual art to explore and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our nation, engaging audiences of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

At the heart of "My American Story" is a combination of dynamic, accessible events that amplify diverse cultural expressions, as well as an interactive photo project that invites community participation and reflection on the meaning of America in 2026.

This event, "Nat Geo Live: Uncovering Our Concrete Jungle with Chris Schell, " offers audiences a glimpse into the unexpected story of how American history has shaped urban wildlife. Chris Schell, a renowned scientist and speaker, has dedicated his work to understanding and celebrating the surprising wildlife in our backyards. Through his engaging and interactive talk, audiences will learn about history, science, and culture all through a unique lens of wildlife that we experience on a regular basis.
