In commemoration of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States, Humanities Nebraska invites you to explore a selection of lesser-known stories from our country’s rich tapestry of backgrounds and perspectives. It’s a fun, interactive experience that will help people connect with history and each other. Featuring evening Chautauqua-style presentations from El Vaquero, Abigail Adams, and Chief Big Elk and daytime programs featuring Nebraska history and American history through engaging stories. Evening events are held at Hastings College. Daytime workshops are at the Hastings Library.
