Rebels with a Cause: Women of the American Revolution Program at the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum

Is there a rebel in your family? This new program celebrates Women’s History Month at the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum. Families will discover how history and science connect through hands-on fun!Kids will create secret codes inspired by Anna Smith Strong and Sybil Ludington, write powerful poems on the museum's Poetry Wall in the spirit of Phillis Wheatley, experiment with motion and angles through a catapult challenge honoring Margaret Corbin, and build protective forts just like Nancy Hart — all while exploring big ideas in engineering, communication, and creativity.
