Pike's Peak has drawn the awe and imagination of people for thousands of years, and has been a central part of Colorado’s history. For this drop-in style program, come learn about two of the expeditions to reach the summit of the Peak in the 1800s - including that of the first European woman to succeed. Learn about the challenges each group faced and explore the equipment they relied on. This program will be set up in the exhibit hall on the upper floor.
