A musical celebration of our shared American history, performed by the Summer Ensemble of the Putnam Chorale. The Wappingers Historical Society is proud to present the acclaimed Putnam Chorale in a new program which musically celebrates the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. The program includes works by masters of American music, including: Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein, William Billings, Irving Berlin, Randall Thompson, and many more. Light refreshments will be served in the Parish Hall at the end of the concert.For its late Spring and Summer season, the Putnam Chorale Ensemble will present a stirring new program to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. "An American Tapestry", presented under the direction of Maestro Jason Tramm, traces the musical story of the United States from its earliest colonial roots to the soaring anthems of the 20th century.This is a ticketed event.
